Transformative Programming Works
Coalition impact report · Q3 2026
What member organizations report, in aggregate: community-led programs in California prisons, in their own numbers.
Demo data. These numbers come from fictional organizations, not real results.
11 of 120 member organizations reported
Each square is one member organization: filled if it reported, outlined if not. Totals below cover only those that reported, so they understate TPW's full reach.
More organizations report each quarter, so part of the growth is wider coverage.

These figures describe participants. They don't show that a program caused an outcome: people who join programs may differ from those who don't.
People served. Participants reported by member organizations, as counts. No individual records are stored.
Completion rate. People who completed a program divided by people who took part, among organizations that reported both. Organizations may report estimates.
Average sessions attended. Total sessions attended divided by people served, among organizations that reported sessions.
Not reported. No number was shared. It is never counted as zero. In charts it is drawn with diagonal hatching; in text it is set in italic.
Fewer than 5. Any group under 5 people shows as <5 to protect privacy.
Breakdowns. Program types and regions covering only one organization are combined into “Other”, so no single organization's results can be picked out. Organizations are never ranked or named.
